The Delaware Association of Conservation Districts developed an online series of modules for new district supervisors based on the topics listed in NACD’s District Official Training Recognition Program.
Each module is an ArcGIS Storymap- a free platform that allows users to add videos, text, images and other content in an interactive way. When a new supervisor is added to DACD’s Mailchimp mailing list, an automated email campaign is initiated that send that supervisor a link to a new module every week until the series is complete. This breaks the material down into weekly digestible chunks that take about 15 minutes each to consume. The whole series is completed in 16 weeks, and the supervisors are prepared with the knowledge that they need to serve their conservation district board.
